T4 Terminal to Allow One Flight Per Foreign Airline, Opens 50 Check-in Counters for Limited Operations

Kuwait's General Authority of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has announced that Gulf, Arab, and foreign airlines resuming operations through
Terminal 4 (T4) at Kuwait International Airport will initially be permitted to operate one flight each as part of the first phase of the
airport's gradual restoration plan.
DGCA Deputy Director General for Aviation Safety, Air Transport and Aviation Security and official spokesperson Abdullah Al-Rajhi
said the phased approach is designed to safely and efficiently resume international flight operations while meeting the travel needs of
passengers.
To support the reopening, the authority has activated 50 check-in counters at T4, along with the full operation of passport control and
security inspection points, with adequate staffing and ground services in place to ensure smooth passenger processing.
Under the operational plan, T4 will function daily from 4:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with the first flights under the new arrangement expected
to begin on Wednesday.
Al-Rajhi urged passengers to arrive at least three hours before their scheduled departure to complete travel procedures without delays.
He also appealed to the public to limit the number of people accompanying or receiving travelers at the airport to avoid overcrowding
and maintain smooth traffic flow.
The DGCA said the resumption of limited operations is intended to support travelers, ensure the continuity of airline services, and
facilitate the gradual return of normal air traffic while maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational efficiency.
